East Tilbury Primary School is a large four-form entry primary school and is a member of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of theSchools' Co-operative Society. We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record forschool improvement.​

Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Headteacher who:​

· Leads by example with integrity, creativity, resilience, and clarity, drawing on their own expertise andskills, and that of those around them evidencing the ability and willingness to develop leaders acrossthe school.​

· Can implement Teaching & Learning strategies that will lead to improved pupil outcomes

· Holds and articulates clear values and moral purpose, focused on providing a world-class educationfor all pupils, in line with the trust values.​

· Demonstrates optimistic personal behaviour, positive relationships and attitudes towards their pupilsand staff, and towards parents/carers, governors, members of the local community and the Trust.​

· Can communicate, with confidence and authenticity, the school and trust vision, so that it isunderstood and acted on effectively by all; motivate and work with others to empower all pupils andstaff to excel.​

· Works collaboratively with other schools in the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust to furtherdevelop our community of schools, to share and develop good educational development strategiesand practice, establishing an educational culture of 'open classrooms' as a basis for sharing bestpractice within and between schools.​

East Tilbury Primary School & Nursery converted to Academy Status in April 2012 as a partner in St Cleres Co-operative Academy Trust. We are a three/four form entry school in a semi-rural location, only a 5 minute walk from East Tilbury Station which is on the C2C Fenchurch - Shoeburyness Line. .

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
