Full-time Learning Support Assistant at Barling Magna Primary Academy

Scale 3, 4 point 5 - 8 £14973.91 - 15951.09 (depending on experience)

27.5 hours per week Mon to Fri 8:30-12:00, 1:00-3:00 Term time only

We would like to appoint a hard-working and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant with experience of Special Educational Needs to join our team to provide support for pupils of all abilities within the primary classroom. Prior experience is desirable but not essential. N.B. This is a temporary post linked to SEND funding.

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (C grade or higher)

• An understanding of how Primary aged children learn

• Enthusiasm and an ability to make learning fun

• A flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude

• Good communication skills

• A desire to make a positive difference

• A structured, organised approach to learning

• Effective questioning skills

• A proactive and flexible approach
