Part time 3 days (60%) Vacancy Fixed Term.

Due to a staff member returning to work after maternity leave, a vacancy has arisen for a part-time class teacher.

Our school is a great place to work. We have a professional, supportive and caring team of staff and governors.

Weare looking for a highly motivated, flexible and well-organised teacher who is able to capture the children's enthusiasm for learning and deliver well planned lessons.

The successful candidate will be:

  • an excellent, energetic and focused classroom practitioner
  • have high expectations of all children
  • be confident in the delivery of Primary Curriculum
  • a good communicator and able to develop positive relationships with staff and children
  • work well as part of a team, demonstrating empathy, focus and commitment
  • supportive towards our caring Church of England ethos.

Salary is within the main scale pay range and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.The position is initially fixed for one year from September 2024.

Great Waltham Church of England VC Primary School is situated in the pretty village of Great Waltham catering for pupils from 4 - 11. The school was built in 1865 and has wonderful character and beautiful grounds.
