Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher - Parkwood Academy

Contract: Permanent

Grade: Main Pay Scale 1 to 6 (Depending on experience)

Salary: £30,000.00 to £41,333.00 (Depending on experience)

Start Date: 1st September 2024, an earlier start can be agreed

Closing Date: Sunday 21st April 2024

Interview Date: end of w/c 22nd April 2024

Parkwood Academy is nestled in the heart of Melbourne Road, Chelmsford and is a thriving primary school within the South Essex Academy Trust (SEAT), a dynamic network of schools that champion collaboration and mutual support. SEAT is a multi-academy trust comprising a family of primary schools that actively work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and staff.

We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team at Parkwood Academy. The successful candidate will be expected to be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class/es ensuring equality of opportunity for all as well as being responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.

This is to start the new school year in September 2024, but an earlier start can be agreed.

We would be delighted to hear from you if you have:

· A degree or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status

· Experience of teaching at Early Years Foundation Stage

· A passion for learning, are creative in your approach and have the ability to encourage our children to become successful, self-motivated, happy and confident learners through engaging lessons.

· A proven track record of good or outstanding teaching.

· A positive and inspirational approach with a real passion for making a difference.

· Ambition and have high expectations of yourself and for your pupils.

· The ability to forge and maintain positive working relationships with children and their families.

· The desire to be a valued member of a professional and supportive team.

· Good interpersonal skills and are able to work well as part of our staff and wider Academy Trust team.

· The ability to overcome communication barriers and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

· Effective organisational and interpersonal skills,enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

· The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
