Employment Type: Full-time (term time only).
Pay Range:Scale 6 point 13 to 17 £22,302 - £23,832 (2023 pay rates)
Hours / Weeks: 35 Hours per week - 39 weeks per year (paid 44.6wpy).

Job Description
Harlow Fields is a very successful special school & college providing for children and young people between the ages of 3 to 19 with moderate, Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties.
We are looking to appoint Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work in partnership with class teachers to support pupils' learning in line with codes of practice and school policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be required to plan for and lead classes in the teacher's absence, attend to pupils' personal needs, helping with social, welfare, care and health matters, which may include toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility.
Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs is preferable but not essential.
To apply for the HLTA positions, the following qualifications are essential: GCSE (or equivelant): English Literacy and Mathematics grades A*-C
