The Teach Thurrock Primary Partnership lead by Dilkes Academy is running an innovative ITE programme for both the salaried and PGCE accredited by the Unversity of Greenwich.This is a school-based training programme where trainees can negotiate their home school.
This innovative one year course involves 4 days training within the classroom and 1 day training at either a Teach Thurrock school of the University of Greenwich's Avery Campus.
100% of our trainees have gained jobs in Thurrock schools and many of our early cohort are already on the leadership ladder, positively impacting on the lives of Thurrock children.
We are looking for high quality candidates with the following qualifications / attributes:
· 2.2 degree or above.
· Candidates with at least English, maths and science at a level 5 (C) and above are eligible to apply and we accept equivalency tests.
· We need individuals with passion and commitment to improving the life chances for children in Thurrock and those who are hardworking and resilient. We can offer high quality training in some of the best schools in Thurrock which can be negotiated after you have been offered a place on the course.

Information about the School
Our pupils are aged 3 – 11, ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and mainly live in the area surrounding the school.
At Dilkes we want our children to be happy, confident and to share a passion for learning. We help them to achieve highly and make outstanding progress.
We value every child and ensure that we foster the individuality of their interests and experiences. Our bespoke curriculum is carefully planned to enable us to teach all the National Curriculum subjects in a creative and inspiring way. We engage children in a range of activities that enable them to develop their knowledge and skills, and equip them for life beyond school.
