Kitchen Assistant - Required: 7.5 hours per week.
Pay Scale 1: Point 2.
Salary: Full Time Equivalent £20,441 + £951 Inner Fringe
Pro Rata / Actual Salary £3,659.25 (£304.94 per month)
Lunchtime Supervisor - Required: 6.25 hours per week.
Pay Scale: Scale 2, points 3-4
Salary: Full Time Equivalent £20,812 - £21,189 + £951 Inner Fringe
Pro Rata / Actual Salary £3,074.06 - £3,127.31 (£256.17 - £260.61 per month).
Inflationary pay award from April 2023 has yet to be agreed and is therefore not reflected in the salaries specified.
Epping Primary School is looking to recruit for the permanent combined role of Kitchen Assistant & Lunchtime Supervisor to work five days per week, term time plus two days, in our state-of-the-art school.
As the Kitchen Assistant, your primary role will be to help prepare fresh home cooked food for our pupils. The successful candidate will:
· Have experience of the preparation and cooking of food and beverages.
· Possess the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory and school regulations.
As Lunchtime Supervisor, your primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare, and good conduct of the pupils during their lunch break.
For both roles successful applicants will have the following:
· Be able to work effectively with other adults and establish a respectful and friendly rapport with children.
· Knowledge of First Aid
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Strategies for promoting positive behaviour and social skills.
Hours will be 2 hrs and 45mins Monday to Friday between the hours of 11.30am and 2.15 pm.
