Role
We pride ourselves on providing excellent pastoral care at Hylands so that every child can thrive and achieve the best possible outcomes. We are looking to appoint a Child Welfare Officer to act as deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer at the school.
The role requires someone who is experienced in working in safeguarding children with a calm manner, empathy, the ability to prioritise and a flexible working approach. They will be approachable, have sound people skills, strong written and verbal communication together with a 'can do' attitude. The post holder will act as a vital part of our fantastic pastoral team.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and their achievements both inside and outside school. The post requires enhanced DBS clearance, medical checks and satisfactory references.
