Salary:£38,890 - £45,753 per year for 52 weeks. This role is to be pro- rata'd for 42 weeks

Hours: Up to 35 hours per week (negotiable). 39 week term time only + additional 3 weeks out of term time (overall 42 weeks)

We currently expanding our specialist services across the charity including various opportunities for Speech and Language Therapists and Clinical Psychologists within School Services, Diagnostics Services and Adult Services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our experienced school team in Eight Ash Green.
As part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and an Assistant Psychologist), you will provide psychological input to the pupils within Autism Anglia's Children's Services based at Doucecroft School, a converted estate in a beautiful setting in Eight Ash Green, Colchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established charity. Autism Anglia provides ongoing training and supervision, continuing professional development and support as well as an extensive induction on commencement of employment.

Your main duties will include:

  • Work integrally and alongside the Therapy Team to assess and formulate the psychological needs of new and existing pupils within the school.
  • Delivering individual and group therapy, where required
  • Delivering training and consultation to the wider professional team

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, registered with the HCPC - essential
  • Experience of working with children who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder - essential
