Learning Support Assistants
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities.The successful candidates will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and maths, and the ability to deal with challenging behaviour and to motivate and encourage students. Ideally, they will also have experience in supporting autistic children. We are recruiting for more than 1 post so welcome applications from staff currently working with primary, secondary or no previous experience in a school.
The pay band for the role is Scale 3 (scp 4 to 5), which is £19,264 to £19,650.
The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:55 am to 15.30 pm) and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days (39 weeks in total).
The actual salary for the role is £12,442.04 to £12,691.35 (under 5 years' service) or £12,609.80 to £12,862.47 (over 5 years' service).
