Pay Range:Scale 2, Point 2 - 3 £18516-£18887 (Actual Salary£7272.78 - £7,418.50)

An opportunity has arisen for a new Catering Assistant to join our thriving in-house catering team. This post is for 17.5 hours per week, 3.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidate will be positive, flexible, have the ability to use their own initiative and remain calm under pressure. Our busy kitchen prepares meals for an average of 270 children every day and it is preferable that the successful applicant has experience of working in a busy school kitchen although this is not essential.

The successful candidate will be fully supported by our Catering Manager as well as the Essex School Meals Service.
