Salary £17,663 per annum
Located in Harlow
Full time (37 hours per week)
Fixed term for 18/21 months

About the team
Harlow College Safeguarding and SEND team work to provide excellent service to our students. The team works alongside teaching staff to support the learning needs of students with a variety of needs. Our staff have the specialist skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality, personalised support that effectively meets the needs of learners.
About the role
You will be working alongside two highly efficient Specialist Administrators to ensure the work of the team is administered to a high standard. The role will include dealing with queries, meeting deadlines, managing diaries, processing information, supporting the meeting of our statutory duties whilst ensuring confidentiality at all times.
What we are looking for
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage with people in person, by TEAMS, email and by phone to deliver the highest standards of customer service to staff, students and other stakeholders.
Flexible attitude towards work and with the ability to accept and implement change and positive work ethic are crucial for the role. The role requires discretion and sensitivity as you will be handling sensitive personal data and information about students' needs.
You will need to have a minimum of two D's in GCSE or key/functional skills at level 1(including Maths & English) or have achieved or working towards a related Level 2 qualification.
