Site Supervisor

Scale 6 Points 12 Actual salary £22,571

5 days per week

52.14 weeks per year

Start date: September 2022

We are looking for a well organised, efficient person to supervise the smooth running and security of school site. Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of school buildings, premises and vehicles.

The successful candidate must be:

  • Competent with basic maintenance in order to assist with general repairs and upkeep of school site, facilities and buildings
  • Able to work flexibly and prioritise tasks
  • Able to cope with the physical demands of the role
  • Willing to undertake training and learn new skills as part of the job role

We are a welcoming special school, looking for someone with a pro-active, supportive and hard-working approach. Our new site supervisor will work well as a team player as well as alone, have a sense of humour and be able to work positively with others, use their own initiative and have a commitment to high standards. The role will involve liaising with contractors and overseeing premises work.

Information about the School

Kingswode Hoe is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. We take pupils aged between 5 and 16 (Y1 - Y11) living in the Colchester area. All pupils are admitted to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority based at Essex House in Colchester. We are currently funded for 151 places.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
