1:1 Learning Support Assistant
Scale 2 Point 3 - Scale 3 (depending on experience)
30 hours per week - 38 weeks per year term time only
Due to staff promotions and new children joining the school in September, we require an additional one to one learning assistant who is reliable, competent and caring to provide one to one support for children with EHPCs across KS1 and KS2.
The position is for a full time candidate with recent successful experience of working with children with Autism, Behaviour and Speech and Language needs.
The successful candidates will need to;
· support a pupil on an individual basis in the school setting,
· be adaptable, well organised and an effective team player
· where necessary work with groups of children
· have good English and Maths skills to GCSE or equivalent level, and possible relevant LA training qualifications.
· have good communication skills, patience and motivation to encourage pupils to achieve their best
Great Berry is a popular, oversubscribed school. Our children are well behaved and enthusiastic learners.
Visits are encouraged and should be arranged through the school office with a member of the office staff.
