Scale 5 Point 8-11 - £20,852 - £22,129
37 hours per week (weekly rota: Early 06:00-14:00, Mid 08:00-16:00 plus weekends & late 13:00-21:00)
Full-time 52 weeks per year
24 days' holiday rising to 27 days after five years' service plus 8 bank holidays.
A rare opportunity has arisen for the position of School Caretaker at Colchester County High School for Girls.
We are looking for someone who is committed to the local community, would take pride in establishing a school environment that is safe, attractive and inviting and work as part of a team committed to providing an outstanding education for all pupils.
The successful candidate will work within a small friendly and professional site team under the direction of the Site Team Leader in all aspects of caretaking and site maintenance duties.
They will also be an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible team player able to contribute to the smooth running of the school.

Information about the School
Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
