Design Technology andGeneral Maintenance Technician
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced technician to support classroom teachers and students within our highly regarded Design and Technology department. The ideal candidate will support classroom teachers and students in a range of tasks including preparing resources, using general woodwork, metalwork, textile and CAD/CAM equipment. Experience working in a technical environment or industry is desirable. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
The postholder would also support the estates and facilities manager with routine maintenance of the school and equipment, compliance and health and safety checks.
The post is full time, term time plus 2 weeks per annum, to commence on 31 August 2022. The pro rata salary range for the post is £19,796 to £20,391pa, dependent on experience and qualifications, 40 hours per week. Part or full-time applications will be considered.
