(£26,948 - £38,174 per annum + £4,479 SENE allowance per annum)
FTE: 100%

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding SENCO with a vision for inspirational education provision, who believes in unlimited opportunities for all children. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Leadership Team to direct and manage the provision of special educational needs learning support; to promote high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning.
The ideal candidate should have experience in supporting children with complex behavior and or special educational needs. You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will be resilient and have excellent de-escalation skills. The ideal candidate will be able to nurture supportive relationships and be able to demonstrate a practical, hands-on approach to supporting teaching. You will be required to carry out the duties of a SENCo, advise on strategies, curriculum adaptions and communication interventions as well as assess, observe and provide recommendations.

Information about the School
Arthur Bugler Primary School serves the residential area situated between Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham. The buildings are generally open-plan with the exception of the school halls, which are used for P.E. assemblies and for school meals. There is also a music room, ICT suites and outdoor classroom/garden areas. The school is situated in open grounds with a large playing field, which gives the children plenty of space, especially in the spring and summer months. The school has a happy and friendly environment, where children feel safe and secure.
