Required 1st September 2022. Scale 8 37hrs per week 7.30am to 4pm (some split shift required by arrangement).
Following the retirement of our Facilities Manager we are seeking to recruit a new Site Manager to join our positive, solutions focussed team.
The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, self-motivated, energetic and keen to work as part of the school community.
General responsibilities will include:
Providing a safe and secure environment for pupils and staff
Ensuring that the management and maintenance of the school buildings and environment are effectively undertaken
Ensuring full compliance of Health and Safety procedures - good knowledge of these essential
Undertaking repairs and DIY projects
Co-ordination and monitoring of outside contractors, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
Managing the cleaning team in the execution of their duties in ensuring a clean, tidy and well maintained school environment
Setting up of premises for training and events
Locking up of school site after lettings.
Attendance of out of hours emergency call outs

Information about the School
Lyons Hall Primary school is a popular and successful Braintree school. It is the first school of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust which also includes Braiswick Primary in Colchester and White Hall Academy in Clacton-On-Sea.
