1:1 Learning Support Assistants
Scale 2 Point 3 - Scale 3 (depending on experience)
38 weeks per year term time only
Due to staff promotions and new children joining the school in September, we require additional one to one learning assistants who are reliable, competent and caring to provide one to one support for children with EHPCs across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
The positions are for full and part time candidates with recent successful experience of working with children with Autism, Behaviour and Speech and Language needs. Preference of key stage and/or full or part time can be made in the application.
The successful candidates will need to;
· support a pupil on an individual basis in the school setting,
· be adaptable, well organised and an effective team player
· where necessary work with groups of children
· have good English and Maths skills to GCSE or equivalent level, and possible relevant LA training qualifications.
· have good communication skills, patience and motivation to encourage pupils to achieve their best
