Fixed Term Contract - three terms with the possibility of extension

Part-time - Two to three days a week

The HERA Primary Academy Trust is seeking to recruit an intervention teacher to work in KS1 at Lawford Mead Primary & Nursery School. The post is fixed term for three terms from September 2022, with the possibility of extension. The person appointed to this post will play an important role in the implementation of the Essential Letters & Sounds phonics programme and the school's ongoing catch up and recovery programme.

The school is looking for someone with:

experience teaching in Key Stage 1
the knowledge and skills needed to teach phonics effectively
experience running 1:1 and small group interventions
a passion for children's social and emotional wellbeing as well as learning
the ability to work effectively in a team
