We are looking to appoint a part time Learning Support Assistant, term time only, for a Reception child with autism and intimate care needs.
This is initially a 5 day a week morning only role which will be reviewed with hours increasing.
Experience is preferred. The candidate must have an understanding of how to get the best from this lovely child. They must be willing to think of strategies to encourage class participation and also be able to help this child to develop their own independent learning, maintaining the child's safety and needs at all time.
Successful candidates will develop this child's engagement with learning so that school continues to be an enjoyable experience. They will also be sensitive to the needs of the child and other children in the class.
Successful candidates will be flexible, able to work as part of a team and confident to liaise with outside agencies.
