Scale 5 Point 8 - 11 (depending on qualifications and experience)

39 Weeks + 1 (40 weeks) per year

36 hours per week - Mon - Thurs (8:15a.m. - 4:30p.m.) Fri (8:15a.m. - 4:00p.m.)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at this aspiring Church school.

The Governing Body of this friendly, supportive and hardworking school are seeking to appoint a Finance & Administrative Assistant. This vacancy has arisen following the retirement of the current postholder after 23 years of service to the school.

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated person who has good organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working in a busy school office environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager. They will also be supported by our additional Administrative Assistant.

The successful candidate must have:

· The ability to create a welcoming and professional environment

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Proven clerical and administrative experience

· Excellent IT skills

· Effective organisational skills

· A desire to work with children, parents and staff

· The ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience of RM Integris and RM Finance would be helpful but not essential.

Applicants will need to support the strong Christian ethos of the school.
