Teaching Assistant
Date Required: September 2022
Salary: LGPS 3 - 5
Closing Date: Monday 11th July

Hours: All day 8.30 - 3.25 (1 hour lunch)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working and friendly team.
The successful candidates will be:
· able to work positively within our whole school team
· able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility
· confident in supporting pupils to become independent learners
· good at organising
· approachable, patient and understanding
· willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school
The main duty of the Teaching Assistant within our school is to work in partnership with the Class Teacher to support pupil learning in line with the Early Years curriculum and National Curriculum, SEND code of practice and school policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must hold at least a GSCE grade C in English and Maths.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
