REACH Essex Ltd supports both children and families to reach their full potential. You would be providing support to vulnerable young people between the ages of 4-17 years old. You are required to work within family settings setting where children are requiring support and supervision utilising a broad range of skills to ensure the child and family are provided the best possible service. We aim to provide a secure environment that will support young people to ensure they receive the highest standard of care appropriate to their individual needs.
We are looking to recruit committed and creative workers who are passionate about providing high quality support and care to young people to enable them to develop. Applicants will need to be dedicated and enthusiastic in providing good outcomes to children and young people with all aspects of their lives and have the ability to communicate effectively and deal with very difficult and challenging circumstances.
This position is required to cover various shifts throughout the week,Shifts could include- Days, Nights, Waking Nights, Sleep ins and Long Days Shifts and Weekends in various Essex locations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-Working with children and families in various settings
-Supporting children and families with challenging behaviour
-Report Writing
Requirements for the role:
-Experience of working and engaging young people
-Good communication skills
-Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour
-Team Worker
-Excellent verbal and written communication.
-IT literate
-Able to work alone
-Use sound judgement
-Common sense and own initiative

Salary From: £19,000 - £25,700 depending on skills and experience
Salary is pro-rota, term-time only.
