SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Fixed Term until August 2023

Pay Scale 3 Points 4-5

Working hours - 20 hours a week, five days a week Mornings only

Actual Salary - £8647 plus Outer Fringe £285

Start Date - 1st September 2022

We are seeking to appoint caring individuals to support children in either KS1 or KS2 with a specific medical condition. You would be required to support the child with his personal care and medical needs in order to enable him to access and participate in school life. The role would also involve working with other children in the class setting. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to act on your own initiative and work within a team. You will need to be able to understand individual needs and follow advice and plans from specialists.

Educated to at least GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience of working with children with SEND is desirable, e.g. NVQ in Learning Support, but full training for the specific position will be provided

Hours are 8.30 am - 12.45 pm = 20 hours per week, term time only.
