Our federation of small village schools is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant based at St Giles', who has the dedication and creativity to help all our children achieve their full potential and to support wider school life, including at lunch times. This role has been specifically developed to provide extra support to our classes.
You will have suitable qualities, qualifications and skills to join the school class teams, supporting the SEN team, working together to deliver a first class learning experience for our children.
Flexiblity, adaptablilty and an understanding of the different provision needed for all primary aged children is key.
Do you have the skills to help structure learning within mixed year group classes including additional needs?
Would you like to join a staff team base with great team spirit?
The ideal candidate will
· Have experience of working in a Primary school/ with Primary school aged children with a range of additional needs
· Qualified to Level 3 or equivalent
· Have a good standard of maths and English (preferably GCSE Grade C or above)
· Be able to follow direction but must be pro-active and use own initiative
· Have an understanding of child development
· Be able to foster positive relationships with children and colleagues
