ST ANDREW'S BASED TEACHING ASSISTANT
Scale Band 3 32.5 hours starting iro £14,441 TERM TIME ONLY PLUS HOLIDAY PAY
Our federation of small village schools is looking for a brilliant Teaching Assistant who has the dedication and creativity to help our children achieve their full potential and to support wider school life, including at lunch times.
You will have suitable qualities, qualifications and skills to join the school class teams working to deliver a first class learning experience for our children.
Flexiblity, adaptablilty and an understanding of the different provision needed for all primary aged children is key.
Do you have the skills to help structure learning within mixed year group classes?
Would you like to join a staff team base with great team spirit?
The ideal candidate will
· Have experience of working in a Primary school/ with Primary school aged children
· Qualified to Level 3 or equivalent
· Have a good standard of maths and English (preferably GCSE Grade C or above)
· Be able to follow direction but must be pro-active and use own initiative
· Have an understanding of child development
· Be able to foster positive relationships with children and colleagues
The hours required are from 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday
Please do note that you may be required to work at either school as and when required as part of the contract on offer.
