The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust of 15 Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), Teaching School and Wellbeing Service, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. Formed in 2018, we are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities.

We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional Human Resources Director (HRD) who will be an energetic and inspiring individual in this new post. The HRD role will support the CEO at executive level and lead on the provision of a comprehensive Human Resource Service to senior leaders and staff throughout the Trust.

The successful post-holder, assisted by a Human Resources Assistant, will be responsible for enabling the Trust to provide strategic and professional HR leadership including the development and implementation of the HR strategic plan You will need to demonstrate:

· Successful experience of delivering an HR Service;

· An ability to work both operationally and strategically;

· Understanding of working in an educational setting;

· Experience of supporting leaders in complex cases;

· Identifying and addressing training needs;

· Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders eg. Trade Unions

For this newly established role, the successful candidate will be a skilled decision maker who is able to lead and execute a clear strategy for future growth and sustainability. Your skills will include being able to communicate fluently with different audiences, influencing and informing as required, whilst motivating teamwork, collaboration and productive working relationships.The role will be based centrally; however, travelling between academies within the Trust is required.
