Nursery Assistant

Scale 4 Points 6-7

£20,043 per annum

37 hours per week x 52.14 weeks per year

Mondays to Fridays starting 1st September 2022

We are recruiting for anexperienced and qualified Nursery Assistant for our beautiful new nursery at St Clare's Catholic Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a wonderfully resourced, high quality setting.

Duties of the role;

· To assist with the planning of the curriculum;

· To help to set up the playroom for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session;

· To act as a key worker to a small group of children, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met;

· To advise the nursery manager of any concerns, e.g. over children, parents or the safety of equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary;

· To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation;

· To attend staff meetings;

· To attend in-service training courses and meetings as required;

The nursery, which opened in September 2021, caters for 30 children aged 2-4. We are offering wrap-around care with a breakfast club and after-school club.
