We are seeking to appoint an innovative, inspirational SENCO to join our school 4/5 days a week. The successful candidate will play a major role, under the direction of the Headteacher, in determining the strategic development of the special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision in the school. Position start date September2022 or January 2023.
You will be joining a friendly and committed team of staff, focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
The successful candidate will:
· have a proven track record as an exemplary primary school teacher.
· hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination.
· have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the current SEN Code of Practice.
· possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be well organised and flexible.
· have the skills to liaise with staff, parents and external agencies to co-ordinate and ensure continuity of provision.
