Catering Manager
22.5 hours per week - 38 weeks per year
Essex Scale 5 Point 8-11
Required: September 2022
Manuden Primary School has an opportunity for a friendly individual, with experience in school catering, to prepare delicious home cooked food for our pupils. We serve an average of 60 lunches a day, representing a take-up of around 70% of our pupils.
Your role will involve:
- Planning, preparing and presenting all food, in line with the statutory regulations and school standards and ensuring that methods of preparation and presentation comply with current recognised catering standards and food safety legislation.
- Responsibility for ordering food supplies and stock control and rotation.
- Ensuring prompt service of all meals.
Ongoing professional development training will be available for the successful candidate. This role is also supported by an Essex School Meals Service Advisor.
