Salary
Pay range Level 6, pt 13-20 depending on experience (£18,377.47 - £21,109.78 actual salary)
Hours
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm (with 1 hour unpaid for lunch)
Term time only, 38 weeks per year.
Start Date
Wednesday 1st September 2022
Closing Date

About the Role

Have you got experience in safeguarding and working with adults or young people, or have you worked locally in Early Help or a social work setting?
If you have answered yes to these questions, then you may the right person for our children and their families!
We are looking to recruit a Lead Designated Safeguarding Leader to oversee our whole school child protection procedures (in conjunction with the Head teacher), oversee the Early Help referrals, represent the school at CP and CIN and Strategy meetings. You will need to develop creative ways of engaging and working with families, working across organisational barriers and building partnerships working at all levels. You will also need to have experience of direct work with children or families and have a child centred approach as well local knowledge to support families.
For the successful candidate you will be working closely in the school's inclusion team and looking to break down barriers for children, and make a difference.
