Pro rata FTE £19,800 to £20,564 depending on experience, including Fringe
30 hours per week - exact timings to be liaised with Site Manager
Permanent contract
We are seeking a hardworking, organised and proactive Assistant Caretaker to join our friendly school. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to liaise with our Site Manager. We are looking for someone who is:
Trustworthy and reliable
excellent timekeeping and attendance
Key holder including locking/unlocking
Has a sense of pride in the job and our beautiful site
Enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude
A good communicator and can work well in our friendly staff team
Professional, with a respectful attitude
Flexible and able to manage time and workload effectively
Has good reading and writing skills
Able to "roll up their sleeves" and get involved in day to day general maintenance, care of the site, porterage, DIY, decorating and cleaning
A clear understanding of health and safety and site security requirements
Willingness to work additional hours eg to cover fund raising events, parent evenings and governor meetings
Can respect confidentiality of parents, staff and children

White Bridge Primary School is a three form entry school, set on the edge of Epping Forest and next to a large area consisting of Nature Reserve and Parkland. We are easily accessible on public transport as we are located on the Central Line. We celebrate our 70th birthday this year. White Bridge Primary School is part of the Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust. This is a locality based group of schools who have worked together for more than 20 years. Our building is spacious, with well-equipped classrooms, halls, library, computer suite and study areas. The grounds are large with plenty of space for outdoor learning and play.
