Quilters Infant school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEN learning support assistant to work 1:1 with 2 children in Key Stage 1.
Start Date: 1st September 2022
Salary: Scale 3, point 4-5 (Full time equivalent £19,264). (Hourly rate approx. £10.32)
Hours: 23.5 per week, term time only
Monday and Tuesday: 8.45am-12.15pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8.45am - 3.15pm
Contract Type: Fixed term
The successful candidate should have:
· Experience of working with children with complex needs, including communication difficulties.
· Have experience of and is confident in supporting children's special educational needs, including social & emotional.
· Have the ability to form positive relationships with colleagues and children.
· Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
· Be able to act on and incorporate advice from outside agencies.
· Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Be caring, creative and flexible in their approach to teaching and learning.
Display a positive approach to behaviour management.
