The Endeavour Co-operative Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to deliver high quality teaching and learning at The Endeavour Co-operative Academy. PE lessons involve swimming lessons for primary pupils.
This is a very exciting time to join The Endeavour, as our Post-16 provision expands to include Year 13 in September 2022 & Year 14 in September 2023, benefitting from a new building provided by Essex. We were recently selected by the DfE for complete rebuilding of the whole site, so we will be moving into purpose built accommodation in September 2024.
The successful candidate will teach PE across the age range. In September 2022 we will have a trainee SCITT PE teacher, who will work alongside the PE teacher. We have a dedicated Physical Education Teaching Assistant, who supports teaching in all PE lessons.

Information about the School
In September 2023 Endeavour Co-operative Academy will be a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.
