Post: Assistant Headteacher in charge of Inclusion, with one day teaching responsibility.

Salary: Leadership Scale, points 1 - 3
Start Date: Preferred start date would be September 22 or November 22 but will accept January 23 start date for right candidate.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher for inclusion. This is a strategic role that will be part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will preferably be a qualified SENCo to join our team, or have a strong track record for leading inclusion, have SEND teaching experience and will support the headteacher in leading the pastoral team. We are looking for an ambitious, inspiring professional with the skills, drive and determination to help ensure that all our pupils are able to thrive.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is experienced in the role of a Primary SENCO and familiar with SEND processes
- Take responsibility for SEN/inclusion provision
- Play a key role in school leadership and management
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to motivate and support staff and pupils
- Be an exemplary teacher with a one-day teaching responsibility
- Have high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
- Be committed to working in close partnership with parents, governors and the wider community.
