Information about the School
St Nicholas' C of E Primary School, is a small village school located at the heart of Tillingham. Located 8 miles from Burnham - on - Crouch, Tillingham is one of the ancient villages that make up the Dengie Hundred. The village itself is clustered around the main street which is where you will find this small, friendly school. At St Nicholas we all work together to recognise individual needs and support every child. We firmly believe that collective worship is an integral part of our community and through it, our children develop spiritually, morally and socially. Our class teachers are supported by an experienced team of Teaching Assistants who also take on additional responsibilities within the school. We have an efficient and dedicated team of administrative staff and a strong, supportive Local Schools Board. Outside of the school there is a very effective Parent-Teacher Association who raise funds to support our children's experience in school as well as organise events for our children to enrich our community.
