Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT) are seeking to appoint an Estates
Technician to work as part of the Estates Team.
You will be supporting the Estates team by carrying out a range of caretaking duties
including security and supervision of the site and related equipment. Other caretaking
duties including porterage, cleaning, maintenance/first line repairs of equipment, and
assisting the maintenance staff with groundwork for building projects. There will be some
weekend work on a rota basis. For more information, please refer to the job description.

The Central Multi-Academy Trust Head Office is based at SECAT House, which is in the extensive grounds of Thorpedene Primary School. The Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Finance Director and PA to the Executive Team, all work from SECAT House.
The Central Finance Team, the Central ICT Team, the Central Estates Team and the Central HR Team are all based in schools within the Trust; the Central Finance Team, the Central Estates Team and the Central ICT Team work from Shoeburyness High School and the Central HR Team work from Richmond Avenue Primary School and Nursery.
Each school has a Local Academy Committee, to which the Trust Board delegate responsibilities.
