Old Heath Community Primary School is seeking to appoint a calm, positive person to support children in our Early Years class who will need additional support as they start school.
This post could be worked as a part time / job share arrangement for the right candidates.
Ideally we would like to appoint someone who
~ has experience of supporting children with language and social communication difficulties
~ shows a commitment to meeting children's needs
~ is able to work as part of a team and has good communication skills
~ shows initiative and can be flexible
~ is organised and efficient to set up systems to support learning and well being
A knowledge of supporting early phonics and maths concepts would be an advantage.
Old Heath Community Primary School is a very happy school with very hard working and polite smiley children, who love to have fun too! The same can be said for the adults!!

We are a popular one form entry primary school on the outskirts of Colchester town centre. Our Early Years (Reception) class has a lovely outside space to support playing and learning both inside and outside. The successful applicant will have the support of an excellent Early Years Team, lead by the Deputy Head.
