The Governors at Cornelius Vermuyden are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher of English, from September 2022, that will make a significant contribution to the development and achievement of the English Department. The department has made significant progress in recent years and the three year attainment trend reflects this.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is qualified to teach English across the ability range;
- Is an exceptional classroom practitioner;
- Is committed to raising standards for all students;
- Can consistently engage students in quality learning;
- Can lead the development of the Key Stage 3 curriculum;
- Is dynamic in their leadership and management of others.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an oversubscribed, purpose built school, located in 38 acres of land. We have a fully resourced school for our hardworking and friendly students, as well as a range of state of the art mobile devices, and we are determined to work with our students to give them the best life chances possible.
