The Personal Development Programme enables learners to be successful, and ensures learners are better prepared for life in modern Britain, to include employability and work readiness skills.

We are looking to recruit to the post of Personal Development Tutor who will support the planning and delivery of the Personal Development Programme for all groups of learners in a high quality environment, supported by the appropriate student support services. The Personal development Tutors will deliver a range of topics to include radicalisation, sexual harassment, peer on peer abuse, sexual grooming, British Values, Equality and diversity and other safeguarding subjects. They will play in integral role in Learner Voice and work closely with curriculum teams to ensure the best experience for each learner, including supporting progress in Assessment Centres.

Candidates should have well developed communication skills to be able to relate and empathise with students in need of support and to develop trusting and respectful relationships with them. Prior experience of working in an educational establishment is not essential but successful candidates should be aspiring to a career teaching in education. Training will be provided for candidates to undertake the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
