High Ongar & Ongar Primary Schools
Part Time SITE & PREMISES ASSISTANT
Band 3 - Point 6-17
(£8,801 to £10,943) + Fringe Allowance 20hrs per week, 52.14 weeks per year

Are you passionate about providing the best start for children? Are you solution-focused and ready to make your mark on 2 well-established primary school sites that require continued care and attention? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for an energetic, pro-active Caretaker/Handyman to join us and to help keep our schools safe, welcoming and purposeful for children, staff and visitors.
We are looking for a practical and well-motivated person to work between High Ongar & Ongar Primary schools. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with ground and facilities maintenance of the sites. Under the direction of the Headteacher and Compliance Manager you will also carry out Health and Safety checks in accordance with Trust policies.
You will need to:
· Be a hands-on individual who can develop and implement systems/procedures, as well as maintain current ones;
· Be practical; with good DIY skills;
· Contribute to projects and maintenance schedules.
