Celebrating Each Other And The Journey We Share
At St Lawrence, we pride ourselves on learning to 'sail the sea of life' together. Children (and adults) in our lively primary school love learning - it is exciting, fun and life-changing.
Our school has been over sub-scribed for the last four years and three years ago the Local Authority built us a lovely new classroom to accommodate a 'bulge year' (an extra class in a year group). Those children are thriving and now ready to move into Key Stage 2. As a result, we are looking to recruit two Teaching Assistants to join our team so that there is enough support across the school to meet everyone's needs.
We have a creative and innovative curriculum in order to ensure our children become confident, resilient, tolerant and enthusiastic individuals, who live and work well with others and who are aware of their rights and responsibilities as global citizens.
We are looking for new members to join our strong, positive and pro-active team who will relish and celebrate the joy of our shared and individual achievements.
Can you help us build on our success and make a positive contribution to school improvement?
If you are committed to
· creative learning
· maximising self-esteem of children
· ensuring learning is FUN and challenging
then there may be a place for you on our Teaching Assistant Team.
We know that our Teaching Assistants are crucial to the progress our children make. We also know that a great Teaching Assistant will accept and support children's mistakes, valuing them as learning opportunities whilst always finding a way to help children to 'sail their boats' and navigate their own learning journeys.
Our children need support staff who have bags of energy, are adaptable, communicate confidently and clearly and always work with kindness and compassion.
These positions can be available in either Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 due to the flexibility and strength of our existing team.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
Do you want to be a part of our unique team?
Then please apply on line - be quick we're looking forward to hearing from you.
Visits to the school are welcome.
