Term time only
31.25 hrs per week - Monday to Friday
SCP 13 - 20 (£11.93 p/h to £13.71 p/h)
Leigh North Street Primary School is looking for a dedicated and innovative HLTA, who is highly motivated and committed to achieving the best for every child.
Experience of working with children and educated to a minimum level 2 in supporting Teaching & Learning is essential.
The school is prepared to support candiates to work towards completing a level 4 HLTA qualification if not already in place.
As an HLTA, you will be expected to support pupils across the school, years Rec - Yr6 and be prepared to cover classes across a range of subjects where required. *Full job description attached
The ideal candidate will:
Ø be able to foster positive relationships with children and colleagues
Ø be able to make learning fun and engaging
Ø be keen to develop a child's independence and self-help skills
Ø be well organised and efficient
Ø be able to follow direction but must be pro-active and use own initiative
Ø have a good standard of English and Mathematics (preferably GCSE Grade C or above)
Ø Committed to pupil outcomes
