Teacher of Mathematics

Pay Range: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale plus TLR 2C

Start Date: 1st September 2022

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Colne Community School and College for a Mathematics Teacher to join our school.

Our school is a community in which we believe everyone, students and staff alike, should have the opportunity to be nourished and grow. Therefore, we are seeking to recruit a proactive and forward thinking member of staff to enrich the skills and experience already present in our Maths Team. We aim to foster an inclusive culture where everyone is able to learn from each other. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and diligent.

This position will suit an ECT or an experienced Mathematics Teacher.

● To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the school;

● Teaching experience within the secondary sector;

● An excellent knowledge of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and how to use them effectively;
