Midday Assistant - Term time only

Hours of work =6.25 hours per week. 11:45 am to 1:00 pm Monday to Friday

Salary - Band 1 = Actual Salary £2,491.31 (Full time equivalent £17,842.00)

The successful applicant will:

  • Supervise children in the lunch hall
  • Encourage imaginative play outside (and indoors when it's raining)
  • Ensure the good behaviour of pupils
  • Administer first aid

Waterman Primary School is a small, friendly school in the heart of Rochford, serving the local community. At Waterman we are committed to supporting each and every family and child who attends our school. We support children's SEMH needs, strive for academic excellence and ensure our children have the best opportunities while with us.

At Waterman, we provide free weekly swimming lessons to all of our children, in a newly refurbished, in-door heated on-site pool. We also provide Forest Schools lessons, which our children thoroughly enjoy. While Year 6 outcomes have improved year on year for the past 4 years. Waterman is smaller than many other local schools and is made up of four classes - Nursery & Reception, Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6.
