We are looking to recruit a Senior Teacher to be a Key Stage 1 / EYFS or Key Stage 2 Leader (dependent on experience).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teacher who is ambitious and passionate about education to join our team. Our pupils deserve only the best, so we are looking for a teacher who is highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and fun. Waterman Primary School is a small, friendly school in the heart of Rochford, serving the local community. At Waterman we are committed to supporting each and every family and child who attends our school. We support children's SEMH needs, strive for academic excellence and ensure our children have the best opportunities while with us.

We provide free weekly swimming lessons to all of our children, in a newly refurbished onsite, in-door heated pool. We also provide Forest Schools lessons, which our children thoroughly enjoy. Our Year 6 outcomes have improved year on year for the past 4 years.

We are smaller than many other local schools and is made up of four classes - Nursery & Reception, Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6.

We are part of the HEARTS Academy Trust, a Trust of local schools that has the values of Happiness, achievement, self-esteem, respect and responsibility, truth, spirituality and service. The Trust is truly innovative and rewards outstanding staff for outstanding outcomes. The school calendar year has 184 days of contact time with pupils, 5 non-pupil days, and the equivalent of 6 days of high quality continuous professional development.

HEARTS Academy Trust are focused on reducing teacher workload and supporting wellbeing of adults is a big focus too.
