We are lookingto appoint a positive and effective Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), or a colleague with similar experience, to join our team. The successful candidate will work across the school (Reception to Y6), planning for and leading whole classes (PPA cover) and work with small groups and individuals. The majority of time will be centred on PPA cover.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced colleague who is looking for a new challenge or even exploring teaching as the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will need to have at least 3 years experience working with children in school; be educated to NVQ Level 3 in learning support or have equivalent qualifications or experience and demonstrate they meet the HLTA standards.
We are outward looking and work closely with a range of schools and groups, in particular Lyons Hall School in Braintree, to provide our children and staff with a wealth of experiences. The school draws a range of pupils from across the Tendring area.

Information about the School
Tendring Primary is small, popular school located close to the Suffolk/Essex Border, attracting children from a wide area across the Tendring Peninsular. We currently have 190 children on roll. The School is set in approximately a three acre site with original buildings dating back to 1896. The school has extended over the years to include new buildings and extensive outdoor learning facilities.
