St John's Green Primary School is a large Town Centre school, operating over two sites.
We are a good school and put the children at the heart of Teaching & Learning with a curriculum that seeks to inspire and support children to achieve.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant with good numeracy and literacy skills to work at our school. The successful candidate will become an integral member of our staff team, supporting the Class Teacher, working with individuals and teaching/supporting groups of children on a daily basis. The post could be working either as a general class LSA or 1:1 with children who need support.
The vacancy is a permanent contract starting ASAP for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including non-pupil days. The successful applicant will be paid at Scale 3 Points 4-5 which equates to £19,264.00 - £19,650.00 per annum (pro rata £11,108.97 - £11,331.56 per annum). As we are a two site school, the role can be at either site which have different start and finish times. Currently the timings at our Abbey Field site are 8.30am - 3.05pm. Town site are 8.40am to 3.15pm. Overtime may be offered.
