Graded as "outstanding", Shorefields School caters for nearly 150 pupils with severe learning difficulties. We are seeking an Autism Base class teacher / facilitator to join our outstanding team.
Experienced practitioners, Early Career Teachers, or Teachers transferring from mainstream schools are welcome to apply, but must have SEN experience, our priority is appointing some with the right personality and approach and with the skills and attributes that will support effective work. We can help with the rest!
You will need a positive work ethic, be motivated, have a sense of humour, and the desire and ability to learn fast.
You will join our Beach team of classes, catering for pupils with Autism as their primary need. Each small class (6-8 pupils) has a structured routine, using TEACHH principles and have a high staff to pupil ratio.

Information about the School
Shorefields School caters for the needs of pupils with a range of severe learning difficulties. We currently have 154 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 19 years. The school is located in the centre of Clacton-on-Sea close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula
